By instructing us to carry out a direct cremation, you are entering into an agreement with us and agree to make payment of our account once it has been sent to you for payment. We will not deem ourselves instructed to begin work on your behalf until the account has been settled in full.

Our Services Include:

• Direct cremation with no mourners present
• Support and guidance from our experienced local funeral directors
• Collection of the person who has died from a hospital or Coroners mortuary locally
• A Simple coffin
• Care of the person in our facilities in the heart of East Anglia until the day of the funeral
• Transfer of the person who has died direct to the crematorium 
• Cremation fees
• Scattering of the ashes or collection from our local funeral home

Additional charges you may incur

• Alternative transfer into care arrangements: from £275 – Collection of the person from a care home, hospice or private residence 24 hours a day within 25 miles of Wisbech.
• Visiting the Chapel of Rest for viewing: from £495 to include upgrade of coffin for viewing, care & preparation of the person for viewing, including embalming if necessary.
• Return of ashes to your home or other address within 25 miles of Wisbech, further areas POA: £100
• Time in care fee: £20 per day after 21 days if your person remains in our care through no fault of our own.
• Oversize coffin charge may apply for a coffin of more than 6’3” x 23” in size – from £200

Personal Effects
We recommend that any personal effects are removed from a person prior to them being transferred into our care as we are unable to take responsibility for them once the person is in our care.

If you would like any personal effects to remain and go with the person for cremation, then we ask you to confirm that in writing to info@simplegoodbyes.co.uk

We ask you:

• Ensure full payment is made and the Cremation 1 form is signed and returned to signify the commencement of our instruction.
• Arrange to register the death, and ask the registrar to email the green from to us at info@simplegoodbyes.co.uk, or for you to email a scan to us if you are given a hard copy.

Termination of agreement

We reserve the right to terminate our services if you fail to honour your obligations under these terms.

You may cancel your agreement with us before the cremation takes place, however we reserve the right to charge a reasonable sum for services already rendered, including for our time spent in administration and any third-party charges incurred.

We are under no obligation to accept your termination until we receive your instruction in writing.

Once the cremation has been carried out we are unable to terminate the agreement.
